Tasoulla Hadjiyanni Recieves Innovative Education Award

The Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) awarded associate professor Tasoulla Hadjiyanni (Interior Design) with a 2013 Innovative Interior Design Education Award. Hadjiyanni was recognized with a $2,000 merit award or her entry, "Sketching in Interior Design History Class, Thinking = Being." This award recognizes and celebrates innovative teaching and program-related practices that advance the cause of excellence in interior design education. Vampires, Werewolves, and Costume Designers

Styling trendy vampires and werewolves isn’t easy. Luckily the new Twilight movie promises a healthy dose of teen angst, a few cheesy effects, and the beyond-the-scenes talent of costume designer Michael Wilkinson. In an interview with InStyle, Wilkinson explains how he evoked costumes ranging from the 17th century to the timeless to a look inspired by different southern Amazonian tribes.
