Students Win Best in Show at Fusion+Fashion

IIDA Northland hosted its 8th annual Fusion+Fashion Show on Friday, November 8th. A portion of the proceeds benefit the local homeless shelter, People Serving People. This non-traditional runway show combines fashion and charity by challenging participants to create a couture ensemble inspired by our built environment.Fusion+Fashion coverage on Fox 9  This year IIDA invited participants to create a runway fashion look inspired by an original photograph of Minnesota architecture and design. Fusion+Fashion coverage on WCCOA team of University of Minnesota interior design students – Lise Rubins, Lauren Rath, Dustin Dorris, Carol Erklouts, Brittney Just and Kenzie Jordheim – won Best of Show for their design (pictured above) inspired by the U’s Walking Bridge.
