Laura M. Anderson (Graphic Design '10) Now at Periscope

Laura M. Anderson (Graphic Design '10) has accepted a package design position with Periscope advertising agency based in Minneapolis following work as a graphic designer for WhiteBoard Product Solutions. Laura currently serves on the College of Design's Student and Alumni Board (DSAB). On why she got involved with DSAB, Laura writes: "I joined the DSAB for an opportunity to give students useful insight into the professional design world. There are more resources now than ever available to young designers in the Twin Cities, and I would love to help students become better connected to people or information that will enable them to succeed." Graphic Design Student Mari Mihai Designs UMN Holiday E-Card

To read the entire article, please click here.] In this, their first winter as the U of M presidential couple, Karen and Eric Kaler sent a colorful, animated seasonal ecard to the extended University community. If you've seen it, you may have assumed the design was professionally done. In fact, it was the work of two U of M students: Mari Mihai, a third-year graphic design undergrad, and Adam Zahller Brown, a first-year grad student in music composition.
