Justin Huenemann (B.A. Arch '96) Joins Northwest Area Foundation

Justin Huenemann (B.A. Arch '96) joined the Northwest Area Foundation as a program officer. The Foundation, located in Saint Paul, is dedicated to supporting efforts by people, organizations and communities to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable prosperity. Huenemann will be responsible for assisting in developing grantmaking approaches, identifying new prospective grantees, reviewing grant proposals, and monitoring grant progress.Huenemann is on the boards of directors for several nonprofit organizations, including the Tiwahe Foundation and the Neighborhood Development Center. He is also the founder and former president of the Native American Community Development Institute and helped establish the first American Indian-owned bank, Woodlands National Bank. Monday Minute, October 22, 2012: College Advisory Board Recap
