Designing for Good: Students Make Global Impact

This fall, the students in Professor Lucy Dunne’s technical apparel design studio course will once again create new garments for vulnerable girls in Uganda. This is made possible only through the support of alumni and friends of the College of Design, whose donations help purchase materials and cover shipping costs to the girls at Blue House Uganda.

Student Perspective: Real World Design For A Purpose

Because of alumni and friends like you, we met our goal and raised $5,280 for Design Global Outreach. Thanks to your support, apparel students started the school year with an amazing surprise – materials and supplies fully funded by donors! These past few weeks we've reached out to alumni and friends to support our Design Global Outreach initiative.
