Thank you! Because of alumni and friends like you, we met our goal and have raised nearly $10,000 in honor of the School of Architecture Centennial. I am so proud of all that our community has accomplished these past 100years and I thank you for your support, advocacy, and leadership.

We will use your gifts to award the first scholarship of the next century, given to an undergraduate just starting their education in architecture, this fall.

We will be sure to update you with news on the lucky recipient and our architecture program. In the meantime, stay connected with us at design.umn.edu, on Facebook, and Twitter. Centennial Challenge contributions are still coming through the mail. If you missed the chance to give, you can still contribute at giving.umn.edu/giveto/100for100.

Many thanks,

IMG_0653.jpgWhen we celebrated the School of Architecture Centennial this fall, I was delighted to visit with nearly 1,000 alumni and friends during our October 25-26 events. In my conversations, I was struck by the many different ways our remarkable program has been shaping people and places since 1913.

We’ve come a long way since then, but our students need your support more than ever before.

This holiday season, I’m asking you to honor our centennial anniversary with a gift. I’m calling it the
Centennial Challenge.

IMG_0795.jpg If we receive one gift for every year of our program – 100 gifts for 100 years – we’ll be able to award an additional scholarship next year. This will be the first scholarship of the next century, given to an undergraduate just starting their education in architecture.

Take the Centennial Challenge and help us award the first scholarship of the next century.
